What to Wear to The Masters

What to Wear to The Masters

The road to Augusta is underway...

Golfers' around the world rejoice with their favorite week approaching...

One of the most, or perhaps the most, revered golfing event is near...

And the question everyone is asking...

What am I going to wear? (No, not 'Who will win?'. That would be too cliche wouldn't it?...but see our pick at the end of the post anyway (we couldn't resist)).

If you have been to Augusta National for The Masters then you know the mix of attire is wide-ranging. You see everything from tacky, printed suits to t-shirts and gym shorts.

But with an event so legendary, so respected, so royal in the golf world, it doesn't feel right to just wear any old outfit. Especially for the ladies, it can be hard to know what's appropriate.

Below are some Masters attire suggestions that include a range of options from casual and sporty to southern and luxe.

Men's Masters Attire Picks by Scout:

Listings from Left to Right, Top to Bottom:

1. Blue Polo - from Scout Sports, featherweight poly pique performance golf shirt // 2. White Visor - from Scout Sports, old school, Bubba-style visor // 3. Tortoise Sunglasses - from Sunski, polarized sunglasses with a retro style that looks good on everyone // 4. White/Green Golf Shoes - from Gfore, classic white shoes with a touch of Masters-green // 5. White Shorts - from Scout sports, lightweight & quick-dry 4pocket performance shorts // 6. Green Cap - from Masters Shop, because did you really go to Augusta if you didn't buy a Masters cap // 7. Pineapple Polo - from Scout Sports, printed pineapples in Masters colors that will even get the pros' attention // 8. Azalea Socks - from Stance Socks, tech socks that match the famous pink Augusta flowers // 9. Pink Shoes - from Nike, more gear that will match the grounds at Augusta // 10. Navy Pants - from Scout sports, lightweight performance pants that will wick away sweat and not wrinkle // 11. Green Rain Jacket - from REI, because April showers... // 12. Gray Pullover - from Scout Sports, midweight, softest pullover for a classic and warm jacket style.

Women's Masters Attire Picks by Scout:

1. Green Jewelry - from Kendra Scott & OlivePiper, for a fun Masters-themed pop of color in your outfit // 2. White Jacket - from Scout Sports, a midweight, quilted jacket to keep you warm and stylish // 5. Coral Polo - from Scout sports, because you have to match the Augusta azaleas at least one day // 6. Green Pants - from Boden, sporty style pants that can be dressed up or down and surprisingly pair well with a lot // 7. Visor - from Anthropologie, believe it or not, the oversized women's visors are back in style and cuter than ever // 8. White Skirt - from Scout sports, pleats please! Another item that goes with everything and will make you stand out // 9. Gray Mockneck Top - from Scout Sports, to layer or wear alone, this mock turtleneck is soft, sustainable and edgy // 10. Clear Purse - from Kelly Wynne, a clear purse can actually look luxe, and you'll need it in order to bring your stuff in to Augusta // 11. Bow Loafers - from Nordstrom, elevate your look with a trendy leather slip on shoe

SO who do we think will win?

Us, and everyone else, want to say Tiger.
But we're going with Rory.

He is a 4-time major champion and he's dying to have that Masters win to put him at 5 major wins. He's been playing consistently well this season and he could easily go all the way at Augusta.

Comment below on who you think will win!
